I noticed the date,
T'was the 12th of february,
And thought about you,
And you made me merry.
2 days after now
Would be Valentines day,
I had things to give you,
But nothing to say.

But i could not find
A single suitable
Word in my mind!

Of what words would suit you,

It came to me sudden,
Whilst there I was sat,
So I thought that i'd tell you

The kindest, the nicest.

Aslong as I have you,

on this valentines day,
