Belcanto IS Phantom of the Marapera. He's dark, broody and with just a whiff of pretentiousness.

"Bel Canto" is italian for 'beautiful singing' and is a term for a specific style of opera where one sings light and high notes but with clear diction. It is a style less used today but still remains part of Opera's history.
