I havent had a good roleplay for the longest time. And if you know me, i dont like to go a long time without roleplaying.
So I'm going to be writing a story here.
Each different entry will have a different part, for example, I could write one today and another tomorrow. the one today part one, the one tomorrow part two. Get it? got it? good.
I'm going to write multiple genres. Scary, mystery, humorous, all that stuff.
The first one shall beeeee....
MYSTERY!!!
WHOO.
So keep a lookout for "The tower." Heres the first part:
Rhy: Female farie chibs.
Sareno: Female purple Crindol with no wings
Darrell: Male blue viotto with wings
Kashi: male Blue bolimo
Rhy felt a pain in her legs, shooting up to her belly and then her arms. She moaned and opened an eye, staring at her body tangled up tight in her red blanket. 'Oh great.' She thought grimly. 'Stuck again.' Sitting up, Rhy flapped her wings, lifting herself an inch in the air, then began kicking the blanket off of her legs, her claws clawing it off as fast as she could. Finally, it fell off of her, landing on her bed with a thwump. Sighing, Rhy landed on her bed and rested her head on her pillow, staring at her clock, waiting for her mother to come in and wake her up. The door creaked and groaned, and finally she heard the familiar voice of her mother; Xenoa. "Rhy-pie, time to get up. Its eight-thirty, and I brought you breakfast." Rhy's nose quickly filled with the scents of biscuits, pancakes, eggs, and milk. She sat up, rubbing her eyes, and let out a ferocious yawn. Xenoa handed her a tray with a plate on it, with eggs and pancakes sitting on the plate, a cup filled with milk, and a straw bowl with a few biscuits in it. Rhy let in a long sniff. Despite her killer dream, having breakfast in bed was quite a mood picker-upper.
"Thanks, mom." Rhy purred, waiting for Xenoa to give her a bearhug. Suddenly, she felt herself caught in a trap of her mother's arms, and gasped for air when Xenoa finally let go. She watched Xenoa walk out of her room, shutting the door silently behind herself, before Rhy began eating. The sweet sensation of syrup tickled her tongue, and the hot pancakes sent a shiver of delight down her spine. She then dug into the eggs, wich never tasted better, chugged some milk, and bit into a biscuit, chewing with a smile.
The door creaked and groaned again, and Sareno's head poked into the room. "Hey, Rhy. Can I come in?" Rhy nodded, and the purple crindol walked in. Rhy set her tray on her desk next to her and got up, flapping her wings and flying to her window, landing, and opening the blinds and window, a cool gust of morning air blowing at her. She turned to Sareno and smiled. "Whats up?"
Sareno leapt up to Rhy's bed, curling up into a ball and staring at her feet. "I-I woke up from a nightmare, well, more like my blanket had me caught in a cocoon." She shuddered. "How in marada can pixies stand that?"
Rhy shrugged. "I cant help but wonder, too. So you woke up from your covers?"
Sareno nodded.
"I felt a pain surging up my legs to my arms, then I woke up, only to be trapped in my own blanket." She shivered again. "I had to tear it up to get out, and as soon as I heard my door open, I threw it under my bed. But I cant hide it forever! Will you go with me to town to buy another?"
Rhy sighed. "With whose marapoints, though? We cant use Mom's, and I'm saving up." Sareno took a deep breath. "Mine."
"Yours? Well, how much do you have?" Rhy tilted her head.
Sareno shrugged and pulled out a bag full of clanking marapoints. "Lets just hope this is enough."
***
Rhy flapped her wings, going faster in the air. Sareno clung to her back and lifted her head, letting out a yell of exitment. Grinning, Rhy dove down and back up in an arch, listening to Sareno's suprised scream and burst out into laughter. After a few seconds, Sareno began giggling, then cracking up with Rhy.
Rhy landed and waited untill Sareno leapt off, dizzy from the flight. Rhy helped her regain balance and the two set off through town, listening to the many voices and sniffing the different scents of food and items. They passed a hotdog stand, a pet shop, and then finally, the clothing store. The two bolted into it, giggling the whole way.
The store owner looked up at them and grinned. "Hello, is there anything specific you'de like?"
Sareno nodded, running up to the front desk and throwing her bag on marapoints onto it. "Yes, there is. I need a green blanket, made of pure cotton, with flowers at the corners - A.S.A.P."
The cashier nodded and began digging in a box, handing a blanket to Sareno. "287 marapoints, please."
Sareno beamed and handed a handful of marapoints to the lady and looked back to Rhy. "I've still got 150 neopoints left."
Rhy grabbed the blanket and fluttered her wings. "Great, now lets get home before mom figures out where we are."
***
Rhy landed in the backyard, quickly grabbing a baseball and signaling Sareno to run to the other side of their yard. She then hid the blanket in a tree, tossing the ball to Sareno. Sareno caught it and looked at her mom as soon as she walked out of the backdoor, hands on hips.
"So thats where you guys were, I was worried." She then chuckled. "To think you guys were out here all long...Well, come in soon. Darrel wants to take you guys out for a walk- Erm, fly." She smiled and walked in the house. Rhy sighed a sigh of relife.
Sareno dropped the ball and Rhy flew up to grab the blanket, the two running to the side of the house, Sareno leaping on Rhy's back with the blanket in her paws while Rhy flapped her wings, decending into the air. She stopped at Sareno's window, working the lock undone with her claws. As soon as she heard the snap of it unlocking, she pulled it up and tumbled into Sareno's room, Sareno letting out a startled cry.
Sareno got up quickly and narrowed her eyes at Rhy. "You could have warned me on the sour landing."
Rhy shrugged. "Sorry, I didnt know my landing was gonna blow like that.
Sareno softened her gaze. "Its okay. Thanks for taking me to town, I'de have never made it on time." Rhy smiled and nodded. "Your Welcome." Rhy grabbed an end of the blanket and together Sareno and Rhy unfolded the blanket, throwing it up in the air and watching it land on Sareno's bed. The two giggled and walked out of the door, eager to get started on their flight with Darrel.
***
Rhy stood at the front door next to Darrel and Sareno, Xenoa giving them all goodbye hugs. "Have fun, all of you! Come back before Dinner."
Darrel nodded. "Dont worry."
Sareno leapt onto Darrel's back and let out a laugh. Xenoa opened the front door and Rhy watched Darrel gallop out of the house, leaping into the air and flapping his wings, soaring through the air, all the while Sareno laughing hystaricaly.
Rhy flapped her wings and rushed out of the door, launching herself into the air, joining Darrel in his flight. She was struggling to keep up, but a gust of wind brought her soaring up higher in the air and she gave a little spin, showing off to all the spectators below. Darrel let out a loud neigh and dove down to the ground, speeding up. Rhy sighed and spread out her wings, flipping twice and then spiraling towards Darrell, pulling up and flipping again. Darrel grinned and lifted his front legs, mane blowing in the wind. He looked like a god with his fur ruffling in the wind, sareno clinging to his back, terrified yet laughing. Rhy smiled. She was glad to have a brother as strong as him, no matter how shy and quiet he usually is.
Darrel dove to the ground, his front hooves hitting some invisible ground, stopping him as he lifted his behind, kicking the air and flipping, Sareno loosing her grip and letting out a yell. Rhy gasped and flew after her sister, arms outstretched, ready to grab her..
Darrel finished his flip, ending up under Sareno and catching her fall. Now she had a terrified look in her eye, her fur bristled and messy. She clung to darrel for her life and let out a forced breath. "Please stop doing that."
***
Rhy flapped her aching wings, looking at the undying woods below her. It was so dark there, so eerie and mystyrious...
Darrel let out a loud 'Hmphhhh' and flapped his wings, slowly lowering himself for a land. The trio landed at the edge of the undying woods. Sareno leapt off of Darrel and kissed the ground, muttering to herself about how happy she was to be on land. Darrel smacked the ground with his hoove, staring at the woods before him. He let out a shuddered breath. "Theres a rumour 'round town is that theres a tower in there - The woods. They say that a royal Snookle used to live there, kept away from other pets in complete iscolation. The was only one window that she could look out of, staring at the woods below her." Darrel paused and took another breath. "They say she locked herself in there to hide her gold and jewlery from the bandits that robbed and killed her siblings one by one, from oldest to youngest. Now, the buzz was the youngest of her family, and once the second youngest died, she knew it was her turn, so she ran and hid there in the tower, no doors or stairs to get up, only a window veeeeery high up." Rhy imagined being through what the Princess snookle had and shuddered. It would not had been fun, not the slightest bit. Darrel shook his mane and looked far out in the woods. "The snookle, they say, died. So now all that remains is her jewlery, wich could be worth millions of marapoints. Many marapets tried getting it, but all of them could never climb the tower, or they would get robbed and killed on the way there." He shuddered then looked at Sareno. Rhy followed his gaze. Sareno was quivering, eyes wide. She swallowed and looked form Darrel to Rhy. "S-sc-scary." She stammered, running onto Darrel's back. "Lets go home, I dont wanna die."
***
Rhy stared at her plate, holding a fork in her paw. The aroma of Salmon and mashed potatoes filled her nose, but she couldnt seem to forget about the tower. "They say she died, and now all that remains is her treasure." Darrel's words echoed through her mind, sending a shiver down her spine. If she died, wouldnt her remains be there too?
A voice inturupted her thoughts. "Rhy, are you okay?" Rhy looked up, staring at the worried look on Xenoa's face. She nodded. "Uh, yeah. I'm fine, just not as hungry as I was earlyer." She grinned nervously and dug her fork into her mashed potatoes, shoving it in her mouth and attempting to swallow it full. She then took a sip of her milk to wash it all down, looking up at Xenoa and smiling. "Mmmmm, What did you add? Extra milk? a pinch of sugar?"
Xenoa grinned, her teeth twinkling in the light. "Actually, both. Isnt it good?" She took a big scoop of mashed potatoes and ate it, too. Rhy let out a sigh of relif and felt eyes burning into her silky fur. She looked over to her left at Sareno, mouthing the word "What?" Sareno looked down to her salmon and cut into it, taking a bite. Rhy's ear twitched. Was there something Sareno knew that she didnt?
Rhy decided to ignore it, anyways, she had to plan for tonight. Rhy grinned, then suddenly it faded away. She had to get away soon to plan. But it would be suspicious if she left without eating the rest of her food. Rhy sighed and poked at her salmon, taking a deep breath and shoving it in her mouth. She chewed madly and swallowed, scooping up the mashed potatoes and wasting to time to chew. She chugged down her milk and flapped her wings, decending into the air. "Done! Gnight, I'm going to my room. Love you, mom!" She flew to the stairs and ran up, leaping into her room, shutting her window and locking it, leaping into her bed and grabbing a paper and pen from her table. She began writing out the story Darrel had told her and stared at it, writing all her questions and the clues there was.
After a while of writing and staring, she looked at what she had, reading it aloud.
"The tower
They say that a royal Snookle used to live there, kept away from other people in complete iscolation. The was only one window that she could look out of, staring at the woods below her.
They say she locked herself in there to hide her gold and jewlery from the bandits that robbed and killed her siblings one by one, from oldest to youngest.
The buzz was the youngest of her family, and once the second youngest died, she knew it was her turn, so she ran and hid there in the tower, no doors or stairs to get up, only a window veeeeery high up.
The Snookle, they say, died. So now all that remains is her jewlery, wich could be worth millions of neopoints. Many I love eating my dirty sockss tried getting it, but all of them could never climb the tower, or they would get robbed and killed on the way there.
How do they know this if everyone either died before they got there, or couldnt reach the window?
If she died, wouldnt she have bones left?
How would you find it?
Who was the killer?
Is the killer still alive?
What year was all this happening?"
Rhy grinned, satisfied. She had enough questions to go to the library and figure out exactly if it was true or not. Rhy looked out the window. It was dark out. Her ear perked, she listened carefully for any noises. Nothing. Letting out a sigh, she shut off her lamp and counted to ten, slowly lowering herself from her bed. She opened her door and stared down the hallway. Nothing but shadows. She felt someones presence, but thought it was just herself, or Sareno in her room. Putting a paw out of her room, she walked silently to Sareno's room, opening the door slowly. "Sareno?" She whispered. Her only reply was silence. Rhy took a deep breath and whispered again. "Sareno, are you in there?"
Someone grabbed Rhy's tail. She let out a scream and began kicking and clawing at her attacker, Hissing furiously.
The figure lept away, spitting. "Geez, Rhy. You dont have to attack me."
Rhy's eyes widened. "K-kashi? I-i-is that you?" Kashi let out a moan and whimpered. "Yes, it is me. Is Sareno in there?" Rhy shrugged. "I dont smell - or hear anyone."
Kashi's eyes widened, his yellow eyes glowing in the dark. "W-we gotta find her. Xenoa's sleeping, Darrel's keeping an eye on her so whatever got Sareno wont get her." Rhy narrowed her eyes. "If anything even got her..." Rhy looked at the wall, seeing Sareno's familiar claw marks going up the wall. It didnt look like she was dragged, it was like she had climbed up there on her own. Taking a deep breath, she flapped her wings and flew up to the ceiling, poking at it with her claws. She heard a Thump once she hit one and then flipped over, kicking it. Paint fell to the floor, making Kashi sneeze, but Rhy just brushed her fur off and flew down to Kashi, grabbing him and flapping faster, trying to get higher as soon as possible. Her wings ached as soon as she got to the ceiling. She tossed Kashi in, panting, and flew in after him. Rhy shut the trap door and looked at Kashi, his face barley visible in the dark.
Taking a deep breath, Rhy shut her eyes and began trotting through the darkness, Kashi following behind her. She triped, hitting her head against a pole, sending a shock of pain thorugh her. She cringed her teeth and got up, continuing her run. She was running through the darkness, eyes clamped shut. Eventually, she felt light headed, a white color replacing the darkness. Clouds appeared and she began running thorugh the air, birds flying around her, tweeting and chirping.
Rhy fly down to a cloud and lay down, shifting her weight. The cloud was hard, but it made her want to sleep, just drift of into a dream... A bird flew up to her, shaking Rhy. "Rhy, get up. Are you okay? Rhy? Rhy!"
Rhy opened her eyes, finding the face of Kashi staring at her, worried. She groaned. Her whole body ached. "Kashi, I cant-" Kashi shook his head and lifted his sister onto his back, leaping through the darkness, close to the ground, his paws sticking out far infront of him so he wouldnt run into anything. Rhy's eyes stared out infront of her, into the darkness, into the haunting shadows...
Rhy almost fell off of kashi when he stopped. Infront of him was a staircase, leading up. Rhy felt Kashi take a deep breath and then his legs working, taking them up and up and up, farther and farther...
Rhy fell off of Kashi at the top, shaking her body, waking it up. Her eyes adjusted to the dark and she looked ahead of her, a window-door. She pushed it open, stepping out into the night. The crisp, cool air stung her skin, but her fur created a small sheild to the wind. She relized she was on a roof, their roof. And there, at the very edge, was a sleeping Sareno.
***
Rhy felt a pain going up from her hind legs, shooting through her stomach and then her arms. She jerked up with a jolt and gasped. "Oh, not again." She muttered, staring at herself. She was tangled up in her blanket! Hissing, Rhy flapped her wings, clawing and kicking at her blanket. Eventually, it came off. Rhy sighed. She had woke up every morning, a few sconds before her mom would come to wake her up. Laying back down, she stared at the clock and coulted to five silently.
Her door creaked and groaned, and then she felt the presence of Xenoa. "Goodmorning, Rhy-pie. How did you sleep?" Not good. Rhy thought. Xenoa knelt by Rhy, staring at her. "My, Rhy, you need a bath. Let me go get a nice, warm one ready for you." Rhy imagined the feeling of water sinking through her fur and shuddered, yet at the same time it made her exited to be clean again. "Okay, thanks, mom. I love you." Xenoa smiled. "I love you too, honey. Heres your breakfast." She handed a tray to Rhy and she accepted it gratfully, staring at the food she was given. Toast, Orange juice, and bacon.
