I feel so much better after coming out recently
3 years, 6 months & 20 days ago
6th Jun 2021 22:46 A couple of months ago I had a really deep realization: I am bisexual. For years I have felt uncomfortable in my own skin in ways that are indescribable for me. When I came out my boyfriend and mother were overwhelmingly supportive, which I did expect. I feel extremely lucky for this, and still remain in the closet for most of my other family thats not immediate and my boyfriends family as well, as theyre all more on the..."right" side of the political stance, and would not care/care way too much as theyre not fans of me at all lol. I wanna get some cute stuff to put on my wall and represent myself, but dont wanna go with a flag per se. I feel like a flag would look much better hanging off my window instead. Thinking of something more personalized, and might even create something random myself for decoration. If you read this, thanks a lot, it was really hard for me for years, and especially as a teen. I have felt extraordinarily more confident in most ways since outing myself as well. I hope you all have a lovely day/evening/night, and hope you can (or do) all feel comfortable in your own skin.
