4 years later

So as of tomorrow it will be 4 years since I lost my Nan. It was almost 2 weeks prior to my 17th birthday and yet it still seems like no time at all since she left. I still remember her smile and beautiful multi coloured eyes and wonderful permed hair. She was known to my brothers as "nanny with the rainbow hair" and she didn't only have rainbow hair but also a soul full of colour too and there's not a day that goes by where I don't miss her.

I will always cherish the memories that she gave me when we'd go down to the sea front and spend hours on arcade machines and then go get a little lunch on the way home. I'll always remember how she'd spoil me rotten because I was her "favorite granddaughter" and how she'd always look after me when I needed her.

She was the best nan I could have ever asked for and I wish she wasn't taken in such an awful way from us but i'll always be thankful for the time I was given to spend with my amazing nanny.

I love you very much nan and I really hope you're proud of me. I know it's unlikely you're going to be reading a blog on marapets.com but I hope you are watching over all of us down here and you see how much you meant to me.
