I was wondering if I should use the rest of my blogging space for game reviews or something like that. Oh well, here's one anyway.

Mortal Kombat Armageddon Wii

The Mortal Kombat series is known for being brutal and bloody, but is this entry good enough? The answer could be yes, but some problems could keep this game down in the dump, literally.
The story is that every MK Character ever fight against each-other to see who is the best fighter. So it has a basic story, which means this game is already heading into greatness, as in you don't have to follow a complex plot.
The game has 3 basic modes. Fight, Konquest, and Krypt. Yes, the "Spelling Things With a K" is back for another game. Anyway, you can also create your own fighter, and it's not a surprise to see all of the customization features you can have, seeing as the normal characters are highly-decorated.
Fighting is great in this game, and the physics are fluid along with the animations. The addition of Kreate-a-Fatality is great, as it gives you freedom to create your own fatality by stringing together basic attacks by swinging your Wii Remote or Nunchuck to perform different moves. Once a move is performed, the time for another move decreases faster, and if it runs out before you can perform a finisher, your fatality will be failed and therefore will not count as a fatality.
All of these features add up to the playability of this Wii title, but it seems that playing with a classic controller or on a different system is much more enjoyable, and the Wii motion detector is messing up at most times.
This game gets a 9 out of 10, as it is still a solid experience, despite the drawbacks.

So what did you think? Should I do some more?
