Southeast Asia. He's Malay(one of the race in SE Asia) and he told me these words that has diff. meanings once you say it to a Malay:
Air- Oxygen/Atmosphere(English) / Water(malay)
Another example is the word gift, which in English and Dutch means a "present" but in German and the Scandinavian languages means "poison".
