There was a very unpopular girl who was in love with a boy. She wasnt pretty but she wasnt ugly either. She had him in her 1st and 2nd period so they always had time to mingle. The boy she loved wasnt the cutest boy she met, for it was his personality and humor. You see every time she was near him she was happy. They got along pretty well and he made jokes and they luaghed together happily. Though she didnt know if he loved her back. So one day she overheard him talking to his friend. She only heard parts of the conversation but what she heard was pretty clear.

Him-...Well I would like to go out with her...
Friend- Who are you talking about?
Him-I told you earlier...remember?
Friend-Is it that girl you have in your 1st period? You always talk to her and you seem to like her.
Him-Of course not. I would never like her!
Her-*She came around the corner she was standing behind and sighed*
Him-Oh...Hey...
Her-*She stared at him for a while as a tear rolled down her cheek*
Him-*Nervously he lied as if she didnt know him well enough* Um I wasnt talking about you...
Her-*She ran away crying her heart out thinking about how stupid she felt*

For the next few days she avoided him and wished she could dissapear when he said she had no chance with him.

How heartbroken could she get? He was her best friend that she later fell in love with. Of course she did not shoot herself becuase she knew better not to beat herself up over a boy.
