Character Details:
Appearance: Strong buff 5'4" body littered with battle scars. On his arms, he has four black tribal tattoo bands, indicating his status as Warrior Captain of the fairy guards.
Bearing strong jawline and long ears that tapers into a point, his ears are decorated in piercings. His hair's short silvery-white, often shaggy. Stormy grey eyes. He has 3 pairs of transparent dragonfly-like wings, shimmering in iridescent shades of rainbows.
Wardrobe: He wears black cargo style pants with knives haltered against both thighs and a long sword strapped to his back. He has no shoes or shirt.
Weapons:
Twin daggers strapped at his thighs, long sword at his back
Ability/Skills:
-A strong combat fighter, skilled with a bow & arrows, knives and swords
-Has some healing powers, weak and extremely limited
-Can weave light magic against the dark forces, strong purification magic.

Character Details:
Zidane takes on two forms-Human and Shadow/Shadow mist.
As a human, he's medium height and well built He does his best to blend with the humans during daylight hours with his signature black attire brimmed hat and long overcoat and boots. He had black hair, black goatee and black eyes. There was nothing spectacular about him otherwise, he appeared to be an average looking human being.
In his shadow form, he is featureless, nothing but a black shape- sometimes red glowing eyes appear if he's provoked. Sometimes he appears clean with lines like a shadow, sometimes in a black misty form. This is the form he uses to feast or to escape suspecting humans. Humans rarely get a good look at him as Shadow form, but when they do, they are usually struck with paralyzing fear that lasts for many sleepless nights. Humans claim to see a shape, a silhouette of a man with a brimmed hat and coat lurking over their beds at night, feasting on nightmares and fears.
Background:People that meet him in human form believe Zidane is a typical traveler longing to see what the world holds. He spun no tales, not wanting to draw attention to himself. The lies consists of him having an average life growing up, caring parents and siblings, never married. Sometimes he'll give a profession as a reason for being in a new town, sometimes he will say he's studying abroad.
But his true history has never been told. Frankly, it's been so long, Zidane sometimes forgets where he came from. Tales of his shadowy appearance traveled back many centuries, each story as frightening as the last. He was often a tall tale parents tell trouble making children to get them to behave, he's called the Boogeyman by the children. Sometime over the centuries, paranormal investigators dubbed him the Shadow Man, a title he accepted.
Ability/Skills:
-Traveling within the shadows
-Limited control of shadows to do his bidding
-Weaves dreams into nightmares to create terror for him to feast upon
-Sends paralyzing fears into others
-Can tell apart humans and non-humans by sense of aura

-The Bible (people reciting the bible and prayers to keep him away)
-Sudden bright light while he's in Shadow-form
