in memory of kassy

i used to have a dog named kassy but one night my dad woke up to let here out and go to the bathroom and all of the sudden we herd a yelp she came limping inside and layed down.my dad thought she would be fine so we all went to sleep.the next morning we woke up and we tried to call her but she wouldnt come.so we go around the corner and all of the sudden she cant...walk.we called the vet and set up an appointment on saturday.it was thursday.the day went on normally but with yelping and whining.i got back from school and the rest of thursday and friday where the same exept there was having to carry her outside to go to the bathroom,whining and no one could sleep.the next day we took here to the vet.we had some good news and some bad news.the vet said that she had done something to a nerve to where she couldnt walk.the good news is we wouldnt have to keep carrying her outside.my mom learned how to push on well i wont say it but she woud use wee-wee pads to use as the bathroom.a few days later we took her in for a check up and we got more bad news.she had arthritus evrywhere.it was so bad that it was worse then the nerve.so we went home sad and went on with our lives.a few days later my dad was coming to pick me up from school.as we where driving home my dad had a sad look on his face. i asked him what was wrong and he told me(as he cried).he said that kassy the dog was in so much pain that they took her to the vet and...and...they had to uthinize her. she was in so much pain and we couldnt keep living like that and well we did what was best for the poor border collie.i bald my head off because i had had her since i was 5.im eleven now.i got home and we all cried and cried.that was the hardest three days of our lives.two or three weeks later it was normall exept for one thing...we didnt have a dog.so my mom said no not another dog but a few weeks later we end up with jack.another border collie.to all the dog lovers that have lost a fido in there life i want you right now to search up-rainbow bridge Poem/video-it will help it helped me.good bye.
