30th Jul 2008 01:48 - Research pet and costume prices but dont feel overwhelmed if what you want is worth more than what you have.
**A marapet is worth only as much as it's owner deems it to be worth. Some may overprice but some will swap a higher priced pet for one they like more (of a lower price)**
- A good name goes a long way. Try to avoid numbers or underscores if it can be helped and think of original names or spellings.
- Costume your marapet. It's more likely to be traded for if it has a good costume.
- If you can't afford an AU/missions costume try to level your pet up at the gym and school as much as you can.
- Equip your pets with any spare books/ cds/ dvds or weapons you have (and are willing to lose). Newer members are always looking for mission pets.
- Try to make/ trade a marapet that nobody else is trading.
- Don't beg other players to trade.
- Don't flame people on the forums if they don't make an offer you like, or knock back your offer. You look immature and are more likely to just be ignored in the future.
- Don't ask every person who replies on your board with goodlucks or pokes with 'will you trade?'. If they were interested they probably would've said will you trade instead of goodluck.
** Remember to unequip any minipets you want to keep before you trade your pet. **
