Marapocalypse

I always look on the bright side of things, so under all of the bad stuff that happened recently, with missing items and what not the best thing to come out of it was that I got my fairy Gonk back!

Let me explain;
Back in June (I guess it would have been, it was not that long before the revamp of the F.Gonk) I was messing around with transformations. Lancaster is my experimental pet, I've used all the available means on him to change his appearance.
So one day I went to use an enchanted plushie on Him, unfortunately around that same time I was also spending way too many MPs on gormet food for Blackhawk.
I can only assume that my brain became confused as to which pet to give the enchanted plushie too due to Blackhawk sitting above Lancaster on the page.
What followed was much swearing and a few tears. You see, Blackhawk was my first pet and has been a Fairy gonk since July 2007 so I'm very attached to him as a F.Gonk. And now he was a basic colour again (I can't even remember what I used, It MAY have been a white Gonk but I've conveniently blanked that memory out).

So I'm not going to lie, when I was finally able to log in to asses the damage I was so happy to see that my stupid mistake had been rectified; totally by accident.

So I'd like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to all of the staff on MaraPets for doing a superb job throughout the Marapocalypse, getting the site back up and running and helping people!
I love this place, I've been here since December 2005 and I hope to be here for as long as the site continues I don't really care about missing items (although a big thank you for replacing some that I knew I had lost!) I'm just glad that the site could be saved and as far as I can see it's better than ever! Especially as I have my favourite pet back I promise NEVER to click confirm until I have tripled checked it is the right pet!!!!!

My Pets names

I just fancied writing a little about how I named my pets. All of them have 8811 (i've explained about that in my other blog) as a sort of sername.


Apache8811 - Named after the AH-64 Apache attack Helicopter.
BlackHawk8811 - Named after the Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk assault helicopter.
Chinook8811 - Named after the CH-47 Twin engined, tandem rotor, heavy-lift helicopter.

Canberra8811 - Named after the English electric Canberra.
Dakota8811 - Named after the C-47/DC-3. Arguably the work horse of aviation world, it is still in civillian and military use after 60 years.
Lincoln8811 - Named after the AVRO Lincoln which was the next development of the AVRO Lancaster Bomber.
Lancaster8811 - Named after the AVRO Lancaster bomber.
Vulcan8811 - Named after the very famous Delta wing AVRO Vulcan, one of the 3 V-Bombers. (the other 2 being the Victor and the Valient.)

Lindros8811 - Named after one of my favorite players.
Polaris8811 - Named after my favorite Marvel comic book character.
Rupert8811 - It was a bit of a joke, as I named him after Rupert grint, as he started life as a grint, but then I turned him into a royal Tantua and the joke no longer works lol but he is now king Rupert lol.
