The 2021 Pumpkin Hunt event has started

Our annual Pumpkin Hunt event is now running until November 15th. As you browse and play the site as normal, check out every page for a Pumpkin in a box. When you find it, click it and you may get an item or MP prize. The are 22 new gourmet Pumpkins and 23 new item prizes you can win and they will all retire at the end of the event. If you're really lucky, you may also win a Cursed Costume or Fake Cursed Costume each time you find a pumpkin. The more pumpkins you find, the more prizes you will win!

At the end of the event, 250 different players who collect the most pumpkins will receive 1,500,000MP and a limited edition Pumpkinstein Trading Card. The next 250 will just get a Pumpkinstein Trading Card and 100,000MP

10 random players who will collect 100 pumpkins or more will win £10 AU, 15 will receive £5 AU and 20 players will receive £2 Account Upgrade Credits

Remember that any player caught adding fake pumpkins to their profile, signatures, clubs or anywhere else on the site will have their account banned for the rest of Halloween and be fined for doing so.

You can play the Ghostly Graves for FREE once per day but the prizes during the Ghostly Graves event are different. Find the grave with Tremble the ghost Bolimo inside during Maraween and you'll win one of 90 special ghost themed Prizes. Prizes include the new Ghost Balloon for your wardrobe and if you're really lucky a Ghost Costume, Ball of Ghost Yarn, Ghost Photos or retired ghost themed items from past events! Even if you pick the grave without Tremble in, you'll win MP.

A certain Halloween devil has been seen lurking around the site again. We all know how much Beelzebub loves Halloween. As usual Beelzebub has all sorts of Halloween goodies to give away to members who are getting into the Halloween spirit and have a halloween-themed character or profile. There are 2 new prizes for 2021 and he will also be giving out limited numbers of retired prizes from previous years.
You dont have to have a Halloween costume for your character, just use your imagination and dress your character in some appropriate clothes and makeup to make yourself look appropriately spooky - just be creative!

Although this is mostly a forums-based event, there will also be prizes rewarded randomly to members who are online and have something spooky about their profile, so you may still win something even if you dont have forum access.

Our Birthday Party events have now started and will finish automatically September 1st.

Each year we love to throw bigger and better parties at MaraPets. Unfortunately each year the residents of Marada also get one year older and find it increasingly difficult to enjoy the party. All of the excitement (and definitely not the repetitiveness) can be a bit too much for them! With so much of their time spent napping, complaining about how much Marada has changed and getting lost en route, time at the actual Birthday Party is limited. Invitations to the Birthday Party were sent out weeks ago but most partygoers didn't read it. Those that did have forgotten or don't want to arrive at the party alone.


As you browse and play the site as normal, a 'Birthday Gift' may show up in a box. When you find it, click it and you will earn Seconds to spend at the Birthday Party. If you're lucky, you may even find Account Upgrades Credit. Once you have an Invitation to the Birthday Party (see how to get this below), you can spend the time you have earned there, where MP and Party Bags will fall from the sky. Collect as many as you can before your seconds run out to win these prizes!

The top 17 players who collect the most gifts will receive a new Trading Card and 17,000,000MP! The next 413 players will win a new Trading Card and either 1,000,017MP, 100,017MP or 17,000MP.
Visit any player who is currently Online Now and click the button at the top of their profile to invite them to the party. Each player is different - they could already be at the party, napping (or still completing their Easter Egg Hunt) but will give you either MP or a Pinata prize. If you have already earned 60 Seconds or more from the Birthday Hunt, you may find a player who did actually read the RSVP and will give you a copy of their Party Invitation. You can then use your time to party and earn prizes!

A new birthday themed Time Machine promotion has just started. Use the Time Machine between now and August 25th, 2021 and you can choose between the current prize list (that changes automatically every Saturday) or a special Birthday Prize List. Select the Birthday prize list to win one of these retired birthday themed items.

All Reward features are now back. The new system means that you will get much less 'Alert Spam' where you're inbox has messages for days at a time for each prize. If you are waiting for more than 1 prize, these prizes are now all sent together with only one alert that lists all of the prizes you just received. There is also a new feature that allows you to Mute Alerts by category.
The Arcade Fairy was originally for our flash games but when they were retired, we changed this to the only other games we had on the site. Since then we've released lots of new HTML5 Arcade Games so the Arcade Fairy now rewards for playing these new games instead. If you have previously earned the Arcade Fairy prizes based on your flash games count, you will not win these prizes again. However, in the future when new prizes are added to the Arcade Fairy, you will not win the new prizes until have played the new HTML5 Arcade Games enough times. There is a new Game Fairy that rewards for each Level Game that you play.

There is also a new Invisible Fairy that rewards for each Experience that you have in your collection.



Congratulations to team Champion Chibs for winning the Super Hero Society event. All prizes have been awarded and the event shop is now closed. Thousands of pets joined the Super Hero Society in June 2021 and found out what it's like living as a hero on Planet Enpiah.New enemies are trying to reach and attack Marada so Captain Snookle and his team of heroes need your help! Each hero of Slingshot Snookle has a different and unique super power. Launch each Snookle to defeat the enemies. You must earn three stars to complete a level

Slingshot Snookle has 90 levels for you to complete. There are 4 Episodes - Episode 1 has 30 Levels and Episodes 2 to 4 each have 20 levels. You can playSlingshot Snookle up to 3 times per day for FREE. Earn 1MP per 1 point. Earn up to the maximum of 2,000MPeach play - if you complete a level withMP for its Level reward, you willreceive the bonus MP too!


Slingshot Snookle has 30 different Level Reward Prizes for Episode 1 and 20 different Level Reward Prizes for Episode 2, 3 and 4. These are one time prize rewards you will win as a bonus prize for each level. When you earn 3 Stars to complete a level for the first time, you must send score to unlock the next level or it will not be saved. Game resets at 00:00MST.

The winners and final updates for the Super Hero Society Event should be released later this week. Don't worry - the event shop will not be closing tomorrow.

Dolls are not currently working as they should

The server that runs and processes player's Dolls has had problems for several days now. We expected it to be a quick "we'll fix it any minute now" solution but after several days and hundreds of attempts, it's definitely not a quick fix anymore!

Features that are related to dolls remain open because a lot of them can still be used (even if the doll doesn't change or update) but we do not recommend using them. We'll continue trying to fix it today and if that fails, we'll start to rebuild and reinstall it from scratch and hopefully it'll be back online early this week. Your Selfies and Wardrobe Collections are safe - it's just the server that loads how they look that is having the issues.

The Pot of Gold has been relaunched

The Pot of Gold feature was originally created to make it easier for rich players to give away their items to other players, especially newbies, without limits. For the Pot of Gold to remain limitless, the feature had to keep changing over the years to stop it being abused by cheaters. The safer it got, the less fun and more 'broken' it seemed. The new Pot of Gold is now similar to the Giveaways feature and much more like the other features around Marapets. Players with fewer than 1,000,000MP can visit for FREE once every hour otherwise it's every 2 hours.

Every item that is donated to the Pot of Gold is now shown in real time and added to it's Prize List. Whenever you visit you will win an item selected at random from the prize list - all items are equal odds and every player has the same chance at winning every prize! You can see what items were won and by who at the new Prizes Won list and there is also a new High Scores List for those who donated the most items.

Whenever a player drops an item by Random Event these items now automatically go into the Pot of Gold too! These will show as Dropped by instead of Donated by. The Scrooge feature also continues to add his own items here.
There are new Settings to give you even greater control over where your donated items go. If you do not want them to go straight into the Pot of Gold you can instead choose either Beelzebub, Elf or Easter Bunny and your donated items will go to these characters. Your donation will show on their pages in real time and these prizes will accumulate until our annual Halloween, Christmas or Easter events when the characters return!
