We have released a new version of the Christmas Tree Account Upgrade with 8 new Christmas Tree themed items and either a Christmas Tree coloured Limax or Leido Enchanted Plushie. This AU will retire January 31st.




The Knutt, Leido, Limax and Zola can now wear the Christmas Tree Costume.


The Christmas Tree Chibs, Osafo, Quell, Rofling and Yuni have been updated.

Our Christmas Carol Singing Event has just started. It will end automatically December 31st. Everyone can take part for FREE! You can visit the profile of any player that is currently online, hit the 'Sing Carols' button and you may receive a prize. You can only visit each person once per day and you will receive MP or an item. All of these item prizes will retire at the end of this event too!

If your character is wearing an approved Christmas Costume you are guaranteed an item or MP prize at every visit. Players without the costume can still take part, but on average only a quarter of all visits will receive any kind of prize. This means that players with an approved costume will win 4 times more prizes!

The 2016 Advent Tree prizes have now been released. If you have completed the full set of Advent Tree Instructions, you can now visit the Advent Tree in Biala to claim your prizes. There are 14 new items to be claimed and this year you will receive 3 of each item! The 2015 prizes are no longer avaliable.

Elfember is the season for giving but not every Marapet may deserve to be rewarded. Krampus is back and his new event will last longer this year! It will automatically end January 1st.

High above Biala, in the cold and frozen mountain ranges, lurks the Krampus. Leering down upon the village, he waits every year for his chance to kidnap naughty Marapets! He watches pets all year, keeping a list of the naughty and the nice. As Christmas draws closer and closer, the Krampus reveals himself in the month of December. He offers gifts to especially well behaved Marapets. If you're feeling brave, you can ask him for gifts for your pets. If your pet has been naughty, he might just punish them...



Pets wearing an Advent, Angel, Blitzen, Christmas, Christmas Tree, Elf, Gingerbread, Ice, Polar, Seasonal, Snow, Snowman, Tundra or Winter Costume can visit Krampus every 15 minutes. All other pets can visit every 30 minutes.

Santa Claws has stopped his normal Quests until January 1st. Instead of rewarding you MP for completing his quest, he will instead give you one entry to his New Years Raffle. The more quests you complete, the more entries you will have. The New Years Raffle will be announced in January.

There will be 100 winners of 1,000,000MP, 3 winners of £25 Account Upgrades Credit, 10 winners of £10 Account Upgrades Credit and 25 winners of £5 Account Upgrades Credit. There will also be 2 prizes of each of these retired costumes : Advent, Angel, Blitzen, Christmas, Christmas Tree, Elf, Gingerbread, Ice, Polar, Seasonal, Snow, Tundra and Winter. Hundreds of new, bonus items will also be won!

The Polar Costume was first released in December 2009 in Account Upgrades and the costume has been retired and forgotten about ever since. We have updated the costume and a new version of the Polar Account Upgrade has been released, with 8 new Polar themed items. The Enchanted Plushie Instructions was also released in Account Upgrades in October 201. As a special limited time, you will receive 2 or 3 random pieces of this retired map. There is a 1 in 3 chance you will receive 3 pieces instead of 2 pieces. This AU will retire January 15th.

December is here, it's winter season in Marada and we have SO much happening from now until December 31st, including our Secret Santa Event, our Santa Claws New Year's Raffle, Advent Calendar, Advent Tree, limited edition Account Upgrade items, Elf, Krampus and Carol Singing!

The Christmas Elf has returned to Marada just in time for Christmas! Make your account look festive with lots of red and green because Elf will be visiting profiles, looking for members with a festive themed doll and rewarding them with gifts. Elf will also be showing up on the forums with give aways for deserving players who have festive dolls, siggies and avatars. You could get rare and retired items or even a festive LE pet.

You do not have to have a festive costume, you can dress up your doll in red, green and gold or silver and white for a frosty look.

If you are a younger player and you do not have access to forums you can still take part. Elf will visit profiles picked randomly from the Online list so make sure you are ready in case Elf drops by.

Its December 1st and the Advent Calender has started. Visit the Biala Mountains every day during the month of December to receive two FREE items and MP. All prizes will retire.

The Pilgrim Costume was first released in November 2010 in Account Upgrades and the costume has been retired and neglected ever since. It was never popular and our revamp has turned all Pilgrim costumed pets into a new Doll Costume. We have released a new version of the Doll Account Upgrade with 8 new Doll themed items and either a Doll coloured Gobble or Kaala Enchanted Plushie. This AU will retire January 30th.




The Gobble, Jessup, Kaala and Rusty can now wear the Doll Costume.


The Pilgrim Addow, Arinya, Crindol, Echlin, Fasoro, Gonk, Kujo, Snookle and Zoink have been updated. If you have one of these pets, they have now turned into Doll pets.

It's almost Thanksgiving in the United States and we would like to wish all of our players celebrating a very happy Thanksgiving. Everyone at Marapets is thankful for each and every one of you!

There is a shortage of Gobbles in Marada. With Talon frightened that he will be cooked instead, he has hired a replacement Burple until December 15th. Burple is Gurple's even uglier cousin. Burple is an original Gobble, too ugly and unpalatable to be eaten. Are you brave enough to fight him in the Battle Arena? Visit the Talon Quest page and start a quest. You then battle and win against Burple and go back to the quest page to complete it. He will reward you with MP or these new Thanksgiving Prizes that will retire after December 15th.

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING BIALA GOALS

The new Candyland Goals released earlier this week were accidently uploaded and merged into Biala Goals files. This meant that whenever a Candyland level was completed, the level and prizes for Biala were awarded by mistake. We understand that this error was not your fault, however, many users have abused this not once but many times. As with all glitches, most players are honest and have reported it to us and we are fixing this now. Other players have tried their best to spend/hide/use these prizes hoping that we do not catch them.

Candyland goals have now re-opened and can be completed properly. Biala goals are still down as we manually go through all goals logs of the past 4 days. Anyone who has abused this glitch and reported this to us, we are currently working on reversing this for you.

Those of you who have not reported this glitch happening to you, now is your last chance to open a Support Ticket to let us know before we re-open Biala goals. If you send a support ticket please have the biala goal items in your Inventory so they can be removed and remember to say if you have used/sold/traded any of them

Once these are re-opened, it will take us several weeks to manually go through EVERY goals log and any player we find who abused this and did not report it will be frozen. Staff have spent many, many hours fixing this for players who have been honest but we will not waste any more time reversing an abused glitch for those who have gone out of their way to hide it from us.
