It's been relatively calm and quiet couple of months in Marada but this just came to an end. A warm weather front has brought cloud and Drizzle. If it clears, Marada will return to normal but if it gets any heavier it will turn into a Rain Weather Event. We're not sure how long this will last but while it is here, the following changes happen...


All Breeze, Plant, Sad, Safari, Sewers and Scout coloured pets will receive FREE training at the Gym and Elite Gym and FREE lessons at the School and University.

Whenever there is Drizzle in Marada, the retired Harmony Treasure Chest is back on sale at the Account Upgrades Shop.
It will automatically retire again when the weather changes.

This weather has turned the Candyland Sugar Stack prizes into Gummy Sugar Cubes. During this weather event you have double the chance of winning a bonus prize and they are Gummy Sugar Cubes instead of the usual prize list.
You are guaranteed to win a Bonus Prize when you send your third score of the day in our Arcade Games. This work for any game that currently has Bonus Prizes that you can usually win at random.

Completing a level on any Mission during this drizzle and you'll win a Bad Luck Spell

The Drizzle has made the ground a lot softer and easier to dig. Visit Archeology and you are guaranteed to win either a Key or Dukka Coin.

Demand for Magazines and Newspapers has gone through the roof! Both of these shops have doubled their prices until the weather changes.

Drizzle and these cute Bobble Heads were enough to distract the Slater Stalker from her usual stalking. She has cleared her Shop of its usual items and these are now on sale for Stalker Points

The Drizzle is perfect for growing a Beanstalk! If you have a Magic Bean planted, your Beanstalk will grow twice as quick. Complete any mission level for the Beanstalk and you will Climb 2 Levels instead of one.

Potatoes are growing so fast that the Guess the Weight competition resets every hour instead of every 3 hours.

It is also great for Farming quests and the chances of winning a Ball of Yarn have doubled and Gardening is twice as fast as normal.

Thank you for your patience the last couple of days while we completed emergency site maintenance

Unfortunately, our main database server had a fault early on Saturday. It had to be immediately shut down and replaced but these things are much slower when they happen on a weekend. You can only visit each person once per day and you will receive MP or an item. It will end automatically December 31st and all of these item prizes will retire.

If your character is wearing an approved Carol Singing Outfit listed below, you are guaranteed an item or MP prize at every visit. Players without the costume can still take part, but on average only a quarter of all visits will receive an item! This means that players with an approved outfit will win 4 times more item prizes!

Krampus decided to show up for Elfember

Elfember is the season for giving but not every Marapet may deserve to be rewarded. Krampus is back and will be here until January 1st.

High above Biala, in the cold and frozen mountain ranges, lurks the Krampus. Leering down upon the village, he waits every year for his chance to kidnap naughty Marapets! He watches pets all year, keeping a list of the naughty and the nice. As Christmas draws closer and closer, the Krampus reveals himself in the month of December. He offers gifts to especially well behaved Marapets. If you're feeling brave, you can ask him for gifts for your pets. If your pet has been naughty, he might just punish them...


Pets wearing an Advent, Angel, Blitzen, Christmas, Christmas Tree, Elf, Gingerbread, Ice, Polar, Seasonal, Snow, Snowman, Tundra or Winter Costume can visit Krampus every 15 minutes. All other pets can visit every 30 minutes.

Introducing the new and improved... Potions Boutique

Just like the original Costume Shop, the Potion Shop did not really work well as a traditional shop and has now been replaced with the new Potions Boutique. Potions sold here are grouped by costume colour and only one colour is sold each day. Every colour is priced differently and all potions are sold here for Dukka Coins. You can view all potions sold here and their prices at the Prize List.

You can only use the Potions Boutique once every 12 hours. A new colour of potion is selected at random each day, with some colours rarer than others. Today the Coral Potions are on sale. This colour is priced at Five Dukka Coin and you'll randomly receive one of the 37 Coral Potions on sale here. The odds of winning a Limited Edition or Restricted species of pets are the same for each colour. The odds are the same each time you use Potions Boutique and not based on how many LE potions are on the prize list or by the price in Dukka Coins.

Santa now has 45 new Christmas Presents to give out from now until December 26th. Complete any Secret Santa quest and a random player online will be sent a Christmas Present item from you! If he is feeling more generous, you will also receive a Christmas Present! Each Christmas Present has one of 30 new Prizes inside. Remember, open any Christmas Present item (from ANY year) on December 24th or 25th and you will win DOUBLE PRIZES!

Santa Claws has stopped his normal Quests for Elfember

From now until January 1st, instead of rewarding you MP for completing his quest, he will instead give you one entry to his New Years Raffle. The more quests you complete, the more entries you will have. The New Years Raffle will be announced late January.

There will be 100 winners of 1,000,000MP, 3 winners of £25 Account Upgrades Credit, 10 winners of £10 Account Upgrades Credit and 25 winners of £5 Account Upgrades Credit.

There will also be 2 prizes of each of these costumes : Advent, Angel, Blitzen, Christmas, Christmas Tree, Elf, Ice, Polar, Tundra and Winter.
