Elena stood up and deposited some gold pieces in the doctor's hand before stepping into the light. "Thanks..." She said quietly to Drake, putting her armour back on. She stood there, unsure of what to say or do.

Luke put his arms against the tree, trapping Emmy between them. He never thought that this would happen but he glad it did. I wonder what Elena would say? He thought, smiling.

She stepped back, pulling him with her, until she was up against a tree. She continued to kiss him, surprised that she ever would have fallen for someone not of her kingdom.

Elena stepped into the small room and looked around. The doctor smiled at her and motioned for her to sit on the chair. Elena let him examine the wound and the doctor frowned. "I'll have to remove the bullet," He said. "I'll go an get everything, just wait here..." The doctor disappeared into the supplies room. He came back and motioned for Elena to show him her shoulder. She winced as he removed the bullet and cleaned it. "What have you been doing, to get such a wound?" The doctor asked, bandaging it. Elena was quiet and the doctor examined her other arm, shaking his head. He cleaned and bandaged both her arms. "I've never seen so many scars..." The doctor mumbled to himself. Elena just looked out the window.

Luke was surprised but didn't resist. He put on hand in her hair and the other on the small of her back. He kissed her gently, enjoying the moment.

"Yeah," Drake answered, "Come with me." He led Elena to where her wounds could get checked.

Emmy smiled. "Good." And before she could stop herself, she leaned forward and kissed him.

Elena sighed deeply and decided she might as well get her wounds treated. She looked around and noticed Drake. She walked over and tugged at his arm. "Do you know where the I can get my wounds checked?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.

Luke stood there and slowly a blush creeped up his face. "I-Is that s-so?" He stammered, smiling. "I... I like you too," He said, quickly, looking at the ground. He hugged and and smiled. "I'm glad we feel the same way..."

Elena walked slowly and stopped at the gate. She would wait for Emmy to be safely inside before leaving. She leaned against the gate, bored. Some passer bys, people from the Light kingdom, pointed at her and whispered among themselves. Elena glared at them, narrowing her eyes.

Luke looked quizzically at her. "What's wrong?" He asked, tilting his head at her. He hoped that Drake wouldn't kill him for talking to her.

Drake urged his horse into a gallop and made it to the kingdom.

Emmy dismounted her horse and sent him on. She walked back to where Luke and Elena were. Her eyes were on Luke and she pulled him aside. "So, I have to tell you something."

Elena noticed that the Light kingdom was getting closer. Maybe I should get my wounds checked, she thought.

Luke sighed as he continued to look straight ahead. "Drake's a bit... mean isn't he?" Luke muttered, kicking some stones with his boot. Elena laughed and shook her head. "Mean isn't the right word... Try, overprotective."
