Connor tore up the note. He sat in silence and glared at the front board until the bell rang. He immediatly got up and walked swiftly out of class.
Jane looked over to see Connor walking toward her...or his locker, whichever.

Connor pulled otu a pencil and tore a square of paper from the corner of his worksheet. He scrbbled something on it and slipped it to Tabitha, putting it on her desk.
