22nd May 2009 12:42 Tablet- A tablet is a computer device that allows you to hand draw... you know how hard it is to draw with your mouse? Tablets provide you with a "pencil and paper" feel. That's how Laimay draws all the stuff
Filter- A filter is used to easily do an effect to an image.. meaning it does it for you and you jus have to run it over the image. Filtrs come in all different types. Van gough, blocks, weave, crayons, etc. Depending on which one you choose, it will make your image look similiar to that.
RGB- As odd asit sounds it really stands for Red-Green-Blue. It can be used to produce any color.
Hue- A specific color. You know yellow, orange, purple. It changes your images color =D
Alpha- A 4th color component in the RGB model that represents opacity (the transparency of an image). By changing Alpha Values, you can make an image completely transparent or opaque.
Image Map- Basically just an image containing multiple hyperlinks.
Bevel- Bevel is usually used to give an appearance that te graphic is raising out of the service, even though it is really flat.
Gamma- An adjustment that makes the tonal distribution lighter or darker. Gamma adjustments are made to monitors, scanners or during an image editing process.
Dodge- Well, you see it when you go change the preferences of a layer it is used to lighten a part or the whole image.
Auto Trace- A function in graphic design software that automatically traces images. Paths are created along the edges of a scanned sketch. The paths are then cleaned up and the scanned file are discarded off. Now you have an outlined sketch of the image you scanned.

Pixel- Smallish sized images made by using small pixels to draw images
Siggy- Signature used in forums.
