this is just like a prolague you know when if fives you some of the best part before you get to the start of the book okay here it goes

My throat felt like it was on fire I couldn't breath.I swallowed tring to put out the fire."Savannah hang on"a voice called."Jake"I called gasping fro breath what had happened.I chocked and coughed and slowly faded to black.Keevan's large body stood over me with a gun at hand."This is for everything Savvy."He called above me loadin his gun.I thrashed as Jake tackled him.I knew I would die for the mysterious burn in my throat of that he would kill me.My whole body was on fire by know.As in faded lines I could see the two men fight.The air stopped coming as The world went black whatever he had given me wouldn't let me slip out all the way.I made a choice I couldn't move so I lifted my head while he walked upt to me and slammed it on the floor.Blood ran down my head as I was finally slipping away.The last fuzzy picture I saw was keevan with the hand gun loaded over me.I would rather die this way that with a bullet.With that he pulled the trigger

I ran through the doors and into his arms the officers looked around while one said,"Jake if you dont want to hold her I will take her." the cop laughed. "Shut up David." Jake said as I cried at his chest. He kissed my head and smiled,"I will be back hon and if anyone messes with you go to Brock because he will go to me." I nodded to scared to speak he couldn't leave it wasn't that I was scared for him it was that I was scared. "I am scared so worried to." I said only in a whisper. "I know nothing will happen I promise okay nothing. Dont be scared you have cops all around no one is going to hurt you." I shrugged and kissed him one last time and hurried to the dinning room it was dinner time though I didn't want to eat. I walked through the door where a police women smiled,"Come over here girl unless you want to sit with the pigs." I looked at Dave who pointed to the seat next to as I hurried to sit by the women. She smiled and pulled the chair next to her out. "I am Linda Webber you are?" I nodded,"I am Jake Donald's wife Savannah." I said. She was pretty thick black hair and brown eyes with pale skin. "So your the girl he just married thats why everyone went to the t.v room they said a godess was asleep on the couch." Each policemen blushed and looked away. I laughed as Dave smiled ,"So where you sleeping." he said with a laugh. I looked away I felt so scared and alone."With who else me in my room there are two bunks." Linda said,"Come on lets go before they start drooling." "Thanks I said you dont know how they all act." I said . "While your here if you need help I am right here i could beat up any of theses men with my pinkie." Linda said with a laugh. I nodded and pulled the covers over my head. "Hey Savannah if and when he gets home I will wake ya." "Thanks." I said as I forced myself into an awful sleep only thinking of Jake's face.

I sat on his lap while a cop walked by,"Lucky lucky man I wish my wife looked like that."The cop chuckled. Jake's hand was tighter around my waist."Owww." I whispered in his ear. He smiled and losened his grip. He was always the jelous type and I knew that. "Otis where is he." I yelled wide eyed. "He is in the animal holding room." he chuckled. " did you really think I would forget him and he is fine." I sat on his lap listening to his heart beat. My new clothes were covered in dirt and grass and his had holes and in some places glass. "savvy honey he didnt shoot at you he only shot at me." I shrugged,"So?" He looked up,"Sav this has something to do with me more than you of course it has something to do with both of us me more so." "Look sav you need to stay here with the cops." I smiled,"You are a cop though. His eyes turned dark,"you know what I mean stay here and out of sight." I rolled my eyes,"Thats so boring though." he nodded "I mean it I have to go to the site and play the recorder alright I will be back Savvy." I let a tear escape from my eye he was quick to wipe it away."I will be fine I love you savvy." I nodded while he kissed me one last time and headed through the double doors. I sat I was alone again and I didnt like it.

I sat and played with my curls a nervous habit I had since I was young. My mom always told me I would go bold because I did it so much. I rocked back and forth in the chair in the middle of the police station. "You need anything miss?" one of the officers asked. He was cute thick blond hair and brown eyes. "No actually I do I want to know what the heck is happening at my house!" I yelled. He only looked at me and nodded and headed towrad the door. It was so boring here I felt borad. I walked into the t.v room four cops lie asleep with sodas in their hands. I sat down in the back seat and watched the news till I finally fell asleep. The door to the t.v room opened and Jake walked in. I ran into his arms and cried. I felt whole again. He kissed me and smiled,"are you okay?" he asked. "Yeah now," I said as we just sat in t.v room perfectly together.

Jake sat on the couch fear in his eyes. Held me close as the police walked through the house. I finally go away from him to go outside for a little while. "Why me why now?" the thought ran through my mind every chance it got.The officers smiled warm smiles what were easily read as,we dont know whats doing on and we dont know if we can stop it. I walked to the lawn and sat on the wet grass. My life growing up was bad all to bad. I was 26 now and only to soon did I get married when I was 22 and it was a mistake. He didnt love me or maybe I didnt love him it was a blur. I pulled my knees up to my chest and cried my life was perfect until now. The mystery man on the other line sent a chill down my spine. Then There was a loud pop that sent a cop throwing himself over me.

I landed hard on the ground having no feeling in my right arm. There were more pops as the glass windows of my brand new house shaddard. The cop screamed,"Gun!" He held me tight underneath him. A gun it was early in the morning, bur the sun was starting to rise the sky was orange they would have seen him. The bullets kept coming while I heard screames from inside. "Jake!" I screamed trying to get inside. The police man held me down as a squad car pulled up. I was dragged to the car and slammed inside. "Jake!" I screamed while the car rolled out of veiw of my house. My heart felt empty as I let out a cry.
