In a time that I will not say and a place that can not be mentioned is a city called The City. It is large and most of the people in in are content if not happy. Living quarters are decided on effort and results. The most brilliant minds live in the Satellite, the ones hoping to get into the Satellite live in New Mercury(A nice enough area of The City) and those who have no ambition at all live in the Skirts.
Jarex (14) and his sister Almalthea (16) live in New Mercury with their parents who both work in The Labs. A large company dedicated to inventing new things and recreating olds ones for the use of the people. It is owned by a man called Maximilian Grayson who also happens to own most of the Skirts and New Mercury.

However when Jarex and Almalthea meet a girl who calls herself Death everything changes. And now they find themselves in Letum House. A strange house in the skirts where the people are unlike people they've ever met.

Death: A cheerful teenage girl , who is death. Her weakness? If you lock her up in cold iron people stop dying.

Jack*Rippner*: A young man with white hair and red eyes that is on first glance mistaken for a demon. You can recognize him by his boots. But he takes great care to avoid officials as his last name isn't his real one.

Love: A wistfully happy girl of about 21 who tends to act emotionally and without consulting her brain first.
Lust: Love's twin brother, he's handsome and tends to think instinctively. Love and Lust keep each other in check.

Lady Luck: More often called Lady (or Lalu by Jack) she loves games, especially games of chance. While she delights in games and long flowing clothing she can also be very serious.

The world of fairy and the world of humans has been kept largely separate for thousands of years. However that is about to change. A fay has torn a hole between the worlds and brought humans in to help in their political plan.
That particular fay is the leader of their kingdom and particularly ambitious. They're hoping to use the intruders as a distraction to conquer the realms, both human and fairy.

The worlds only hope is to find out who they are and stop them, human and fay alike. Can they overcome their differences to save their worlds?

Heaven has a problem, a big one. There are a handful of kids who are destined to save the world with their powers, the problem? None of them can use their powers and dark forces are gathering, dark forces that will kill the children if they get a chance.
This is coupled with the fact they can't find any of their guardian angels that they need to guard the kids and teach them how to use their powers!
The solution? They didn't want to do it, but they brought out a group of immortals that they really don't trust. Theives and murders they consider the lot, but they're all they have now.

You can be a immortal of any kind
You cannot refuse your guardian immortal unless you already have one
try to keep the Guardian/powered kids at a good ratio
You can be a non guardian immortal but you should have restrictions.
Any sort of Intro is allowed.

Finding real estate is hard enough without finding a place that will sell to a mad scientist, but luckily one has set up shop in a large home just outside a small town somewhere in the American Midwest. They bring with them a whole host of strange sentient life forms.
Weird attracts weird though and soon after crypto's, demons and other bizarre things begin to flock to the mansion in search of a place to live.

What ever shall the town do?
Will they start a mob or accept it?

We need a scientist, creations, whatever flocks to the house, and townspeople.
No creations can be all powerful, in fact they would be more likely to be flawed. use your imagination. They can be mythical things made imaginary or something new.

In part of his plan he's shut up the kings most trusted guards in the underground of the kingdom.Where the foulest denizens dwell.
The guards are called the Angels, and very recognizable. It's mostly the wings but their sense of honor and morals are easy to spot in the underground as well. They're searching for the kings banished heir, so they can take over instead of the advisers offspring. Will the Angels Suceed?

What would happen if one day you woke up with angel wings?
That's exactly what happened to Jason Orglethrope. While on the crowded bus on the way to school he gives a old woman his seat, he wakes up the next day with tiny angel wings, but they're growing. They give him the courage to stand up the the bullies that make up the majority of his school. And when he helps a girl fetch her backpack out of the dumpster she goes on to attempt find someones scattered notes. She'll wake up realizing she can make force fields but not before she can pass it on.

old lady gave Jason a gift that only woke up when he helped someone else. it spreads to whoever gets helped and they get their own gift as long as they help someone else. Clear?


When a group of teenagers insult a witch on their way to the midnight showing of the newest and proclaimed scariest horror movie they shake it off as a joke. But when they get out of the movie, scared out of their wits and ready to go all watch comedys at one of their houses where the parents are out...something happens. And suddenly they're in a nightmare. Serial killers, slashers, vampires, zombies, werewolves,bad fairies and all sorts of horrors.
However the witch has gifted then with movie peoples luck, and they know they shouldn't go into the basement alone, or start making out randomly. So they just might live, or not.

Monsters and killers can be"killed' and then come back in movie fashion
You can really kill then off if you get bored of them or want to leave
violence to a miniumum to comply with mara rules.

There is a island in the center of the seven seas, that contains a magical labyrinth. It's the ultimate test for most people, but somehow a group of people get caught in it accidentally all by walking through the wrong door.
Now they have to escape the labyrinth to escape the island. The labyrinth is full of dangers and is more or less one big Greek myth. All they have to guide them is a woman trapped in a mirror.
And what they don't know, but the island does, is that they are the reincarnations of people from famous Greek legends.

MM me if you want to be the mirror lady. Since she's can doing much but talk and advise they get first pick of scenery. If she describes something it is, because she can't get out of the mirror to touch and move.

you can't be a Greek god, they don't die and thus can't be reincarnated. Try Jason, Achilles, Adromedea ect
You can however randomly insert one in and then take them back out like in legends. For example Hera gives some sort of cryptic advise and them leaves.
They may be reincarnation but they don't know that, and so they only show similar character traits.

The fair was crowded and lit up the night, games, exotic animals at one side, a freakshow and circus at the other. In the back of the freakshow taking ticket stubs is a old man sitting on top a pile of ancient books: Dracula, The Invisible Man, Robinson Crusoe, Moby Di,ck, Frankenstein and many others. The old man is holding a box full of ticket stubs, and one other thing. A paper bag full of little green worms that glow and grow with a kind of magic.
A kid stumbles and before his mother can catch him makes the old man fall and spill the worms ontop of the scattered books, they burrow in and in a few minutes something happens. A deeper magic then the worms posses pulls the characters up and out of the books.
As it is in life the good bands together and the evil bands together, but as it is in literature characters are often misunderstood as one thing or another.

But when one character really bonds together the evil seeming ones what will happen?

Books in the public domain include those listed above plus things like Little Red Riding Hood, The Wizard of Oz, Dorian Grey, Doctor Jekyll and Mr Hyde,The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Jane Eyre, The Little Mermaid, Sherlock Holmes, lots more books, you might as well look it up to see if your book is public domain yet.

A carnival comes to town, it has no papers and seems rather foreboding with its large purple and black tent and various closed booths. it advertises a wax museum and "freaky sideshows" and some people can't stay away.
So you go to the Dark Carnival, you sit down to watch the show and something happens to you, suddenly you're glued to your seat. Because what no one knows about the carnival is that it's run by a powerful magician. Once this magician was kind and peaceful and he ran a childrens show in another circus, but one day a teenager ruined one of his tricks and he was fired. So he did what he never wanted to do, he turned to the very back of his magic book where the black arts were kept.
Now he has his own carnival where he is the ringmaster and when someone in the crowd strikes his interest he takes them and turns them into a act.

On a cross country trip to New York City a bunch of California kids stop at the Ramada New Yorker room 3327 to spend the night. After things get a bit too...raucous they knock a large hole in the wall revealing a stash of notes and a large machine. They accidentally set the thing off and it's pointed at them!
What they learn afterwards is that the machine was built by Nicholas Tesla before he died and has imbued them each with the powers of one of his machines. Will the kids get back home alright? Will the goverment find them and steal them away just like the plans for Teslas deathray? Will they master their new powers?


Once upon a time there were two siblings, a girl and her older brother. Their parents had died and they lived alone at the top of their parents old store selling what they could. The sister was left scarred and ugly by the pox that killed their parents and she cried about it day and night.
Her soft hearted and foolish brother sent her to a witch in hopes she could be beautiful again by magic, and she could, but there was a price.
The witch turned the girls brother in a magical marionette and the shop into a nearly empty doll shop. Now the shop magically roams from city to city, ensnaring girls and draining them of their beauty eventually turning them into dolls. Although it seems like the brother is the one draining the beauty he's not the one pulling the strings.

When the shop comes to town can the people that it has it's eyes on resist it's charm? For they are lured in by the brother who's limited magic can make then beautiful, until they're sapped of their life and beauty and made dolls that is.

Have you ever wondered where dreams come from? No, I'll say this right off the bat, they aren't just subconscious stew. Every night while one is asleep a Something comes into ones room and grabs all the little whisps of happiness that float around and put them in your head.
No one knows what these somethings look like, because no ones ever been awake to see them. But one night a thunderstorm wakes several people up as they are being given a dream and the Somethings have no choice but to drag them down into their own world. But another force is at work here, those people were woken up at that exact moment to do one things. To carry out a not so ancient prophecy that one day a group of humans will bestow something upon them, human emotions.

Little Shop of Horrors, no prior knowledge of the play or movie necessary)
In a little flower shop on Skid row a botanist named Seymour has a mysterious plant named Audrey Two. And unbeknown to him a member of a High schools botany club(who was on vacation in the area) took a clipping weeks before his disappearance.
The student goes back to their local bot\any club and they hope to use it to win a upcoming contest. However no matter what they did it didn't grow. Eventually someone cut themselves and the plant laps it up and grows. (Not quite that literally)
How far will they go to keep the plant happy and alive? Especially when it reveals that it can make their dreams come true.

The plant gets to god mode a bit, it's supposed to be a incentive because it can't walk around (So if you're the plant you can't follow people around in the school) and it really does get really powerful after a point.I also don't think many people want to rp as a giant flytrap with a taste for human flesh but thats just me. If more then one person wants to be Audrey three(Or whatever it's named, the club can change the name) then the person most familiar with Little Shop of Horrors gets to be it.

What would you do if people were disappearing all around you? Not literally of course, but every time you wake up it seem more and more people are missing. And oddly enough they all see to be children, already more then half the young children. No one knows where they are, the police are completely stumped, all they know is that the same person has taken all of them, because in every childs place is a little doll made of brush.
Now even the teenagers are frighten, except for a few, because they know how to not get caught. They seem them out of the corners of their eyes, or if they don't blink.
Can they get the stolen children?
Up the airy mountain, down the rushing glen, we daren't go a hunting for fear of little men.

As they travel through the magical and medieval towns searching for the amulet they discover that they are not all they appear.
Rules
Standard fantasy quest fare. We need a good luck girl and bad luck boy. There is however a stimulus. Because people hate having preassigned character traits both of those characters come with secret weapons of sorts. They are to be kept to themselves until they feel the need to reveal them.
Most species can learn at least some sort of magic though it is something you need a gift for, it's not all that common but common enough. Like being lefthanded.

In a future world, where science and technology have progressed at a unbelievable rate a normal human being is hard to find. One can change anything about themselves, to something as simple as cosmetic surgery, becoming extremely pretty, or something as off the edge as splicing your DNA or making yourself a living ghoul.
People are surprisingly happy and ever demanding the latest surge , the government seemingly fair. Yet something is odd, why do so many people over 26 have trouble remembering events from 9 years ago? Why do the history books seem wrong? And why is it so hard to catch the 7 subway?
And then one day you get a ping(like a email or page.) from someone who called them self Jack in Irons, and it's a very simple message. "How would you like to be considered a freak?" Followed by a ip address, where to find the computer he posted on. You're meant to follow it, will you?
If you do you find yourself in a dank disused subway tunnel, with a crowd of other people, listening to a man behind a black curtain, who claims to tell you the truth.
He tells you that if you are 26 now nine years ago was the end. Mankind was on the brink of disaster, war disease and starvation where rampant on earth. This however is not earth. In a desperate bargain the majority of the countries on earth struck a deal with a group of aliens. Where they live now is a alien constructed hover continent above Earth, with the alien technology to keep them quiet and comfortable. However down below the aliens are experimenting, on people like him. Doing things too cruel to be practiced on their own species, so they decided to make the perfect human instead. Now he asks you to join him in a attempt to smuggle the humans down below up. Now people in masks hand out a red pill or a blue pill. If you take the blue you forget, if you take the red you agree to help. What will you decide?

A hundred years ago, on the eve of the San Fransisco earthquake there was a group of curators for a small museum, each endowed with extra ordinary powers for a human. They run a small sort of museum dedicated to the freakier things on earth, magic and monsters. And now, by sheer accident, they've conjured up a disaster that will shake the world apart. A demon. The only way to stop it is to seal it inside a human host, and seal the host away, a mirror is chosen for the job, but there is no human host. Until, a man from the back of their ranks volunteers. They promise to get him out once they seal him in the mirror, but they never manage. Those that don't die in the earthquake aren't able to find the mirror afterward.
Until now. Their descendants are haunted by their ghosts now in the modern era. They won't rest until they free their friend and destroy the demon for good.

The clock struck midnight. A girl(or boy) crept into their bed and turned out the lights. From the closet, there is cackling, things begin to roll out from under their bed, and a pair of glowing red eyes appear in their window. Just as all the horrors draw in closer, a miracle happens, a angel breaks through the window, dragging with it the red eyed man. They begin to fight, with fists and fire and magic and things never seen before. More angels and their friends come, pretty faced and glowing with inner light. And then the beasties crawl out from their hiding places and they are horrific, brutal even. Slaughtering the forces of good in their home territory, the shadows and dark of the night. When the forces of good retreat, the ghouls turn to the human. The red eyed humanoid talks.
Are you frightened?" The things that go bump in the night belong to a group called Legion, formed to combat the UnOrder, a group of the pretty faces you just saw. As his comrades dispose of bodies he explains. How you got caught in the crossfires of a fight you should not have seen. How they are not the bad guys, how this is not the final arena. And why they are things that go bump in the night.

Rules
Basically there are three ish groups, humans, Legion, and UnOrder.
If you're human you should be in thst room, the one who was trying to sleep, or maybe it was a sleepover, dosen't really matter.
UnOrder is the group with the angels ect. They aren't all angels, but they are all beautiful or things you associate with good things. They are what was good and corrupted, they want to have the human race as a sort of slave group that worships them.

Legion, as the name may suggest, is comprised of all the creatures that go bump in the night. The vampire you used to imagine lived in your closet? The ghoul, the hairy beast, the medusa or person who would take off their face in your nightmares? All Legion. All ugly or just reeking of evil. (anyone joining Legion as a pretty face has to literally repulse people anyway) Legion was formed to combat the UnOrder, out of the things and humanoids who were gruesome, but good hearted.
Pretty boy/girl vampires and werewolves not allowed in the Legion(think Orlock). UnOrder does have some of them.
